My son reads a lot of books and was so excited to find another great read! He compared it to an exciting book such as "The Lightning Thief" by Rick Riordan. This is one of his favorite authors, so that is quite a complement!! He can't wait for the next book!! Check this one out for sure!!

More than I expected!
This book was free, so I thought I'd give it a try. It was incredible! I loved the characters and it was very well written! Yes, the story is an old one where boy wants to be wizard but for one reason or another is not allowed, but this story has a very good plot with parts that make you laugh, cheer and even sadness at times. I do hope there is more from this (technically these) author soon because I am already wrapped up in Nate's story and want to find out how he does in the Wizarding world!

My wife and I read up to as many as several novels a week. This book is meant for young adults, but it is a great read for anyone. I was fully engrossed in the story and could not put it down. This book has great character development, good writing, and an awesome novel storyline. The content is clean and throughly entertaining; a must read for youth, a great read for all else.

Great fun for kids
My eleven year old daughter and I both read this book. My daughter loved it from start to finish. I think it's perfect for younger kids. She was enthralled with the characters and begged for the next book as soon as she finished reading the first one(which didn't take very long). Even though I'm not in the target audience, I enjoyed the vivid imagination, colorful settings, and creative action. There were several surprises along the way. It would be tons of fun families to read together. The author managed to weave some empathy and value lessons into the story in a subtle and effective way.
